The guest book is not the same as a condolence letter
The key purpose for the guest book is to notify the family of who has visited and create a record for them. It is typically not intended for you to share your condolences.
Share your family name and contact details
It can be helpful to write a company or an organizational association next to your name if the family doesn’t know you directly. It is important to write legibly. Families often like having contact details.
For sending your condolences, you may wish to write a condolence letter. You can also share condolences through a private direct message on the Everdays Announcement.
Use your best judgement
Guest books are typically shared with all guests. Do not write anything in the funeral guest book that should not be shared publicly.
