New Event Dashboard and Announcement Options

We’re excited to announce new options that are now available in your Everdays Dashboard when service details are not available at the time of Announcement creation.

Beginning today, you will see three new options in the Services section in your Everdays Dashboard:

  1. No events will be held - If the family has elected to not have services, choose this option to add a "No services are planned" card to the Announcement
  2. Services are pending - When services have yet to be arranged, choose this option to add a "Services are pending" card to your Announcement
  3. All services will be private - If the family opts not to make services public, choose this option to add "The family has not made services public" card to your Announcement.

Dashboard Access from the Everdays App

If you haven’t downloaded the Everdays app yet, now’s the time to do it as you may now create an Announcement from your dashboard from within the app! Use your smartphone or tablet to create an Announcement during the arrangement meeting or when away from your computer.

To access your dashboard via the app, simply click on Create Announcement, Get Started, and choose Go to My Dashboard to launch the dashboard. If you’re not currently logged in to your dashboard, enter your credentials to start creating an Announcement!

More Community Engagement Options

Friends and family visiting an Everdays Announcement may now share their love and comment on the family message and individual events.

As a reminder, when meeting with the family during the arrangement meeting, partner with them to personalize the family message. If you’re unable to receive a desired message from the family, remind them that they may update the default family message via the Everdays app.

Improved Chat Experience

With direct messages, Everdays app users now have the ability to:

  1. Filter direct messages to view unread or all messages
  2. Search by the sender’s name
  3. Sort by the latest or oldest message, name (A-Z) or name (Z-A)
  4. Message other family and friends connected with Announcements they follow
